So, I just got final word that my research (you know, the research that’s supposedly fake) is getting published in Duke University Press’ peer-reviewed journal, Transgender Studies Quarterly.  It’s really gratifying to know that the research that came out of the Houston Trans Archive has led the folks who write the history books to consider the reality of a more rich and nuanced lexical heritage than the myopic view offered by the Prince Fountainhead Narrative.
