I feel so much better after the Board meeting last night! I went to be without a sense of dread for the first time in months. I feel relaxed in a way that feels almost foreign to me at this point. So much hurt feels as if it was let. I don’t feel as though someone has the power to emotionally bully me in secrete anymore. Also, on a personal level, I feel I gained some resolution in that I feel like both Carolyn and I did the next right thing even though it was incredibly difficult to do. Lastly, it was so amazing to receive the support of so many. Carolyn told me that the standing ovation moved her to tears. Me, on the other hand, I wanted to crawl under the table LOL! I’m such a dork! LOL
