Houston TG Community:

Folks, there are a lot of extremely exciting things in the works right now. The things that are under development exist nowhere else in America. Trust me… over the next 12 months, the community’s ability to take care of itself is going to expand in a way that is unbelievable.

If the things that are in the works right now play out the way I anticipate, the community is about to become very, very sophisticated and many of the institutionalized discrimination we currently deal with – from legal issues to housing – will be a thing of the past.

I had a meeting with the City of Houston today. Also, early this morning I confirmed some incredible – amazing – support for this community from an ally… and what will come of these two meetings will very likely give birth to some very incredible things… fairly soon. On top of this, the CAB met today and made plans for a dance and several new TG classes.

Today:

Today, I have 20 years clean and sober. Today I am 4 years post-operative. Eleven years ago today, I took my first hormone pill.

To top it off, someone in the community sent my a “Birthday” card with a 20 year AA chip inside. I was really floored to receive it! Getting that card and chip today was just an incredibly special thing to happen!
